Today my group were designing a poster and leaflet to raise awareness of our campaign and in Mrs Haythorpe's lesson we were rehearsing our performance to Browick Infant School on the 30th November. We are planning to go there in the morning, do an assembly and then do some workshops to encourage them to donate their old toys to our charities.
My group came up with the idea of using old toys whose owner has outgrown them. The toys are very sad until they hear they are going to be donated to a charity shop and given to someone who really wants them. Because this is aimed at Year 2's it has to be quite simple so we have made it so they will understand. We will see if this campaign strategy has been a success if we receive lots of donations-we must send a letter out to parents first informing them of the need for toys and if we get plenty in then it has been a success.
